A Passion For Mexican Flavors

Dos Salitos started with a dream roughly 4 years ago. We envisioned a place where we could cook and prepare our old family recipes for all to enjoy. We longed for the amazing smells and flavors of where we come from. Fast forward a few years and here we are! Dos Salitos has been in the works for some time and now we are proud to be serving our fantastic family recipes with you all!

Although we do not have any professional chef training, we pride ourselves in knowing what good Mexican food should look and taste like. With our sharp palettes and guidance from our old recipes, we are very excited to bring you all a taste of our heritage. 

Naming our business Dos Salitos is nod to our bond as father and son. Salomon is a name that goes back through generations of our family in my dad’s home state of Michoacán. In Spanish “ito” is often a term of endearment or a way of calling someone a Jr. I was called Salito all through my childhood and so was my dad before me. 

You can be sure that your taste buds will have an experience when you eat our food. From moms famous home made tamales, to our daily made flour and corn tortillas, to our deliciously marinated steak, and crunchy and salty in house made tortilla chips. Your hunger will be quenched with our delicious menu options!
